Walking through the peculiar and labyrinth-like streets of Rome, marvelous Vatican City, about to cross a bridge, I find a beautiful little shop.  I decide to enter and explore the textures and colors I see from the window outside, and there begins this adventurous new collection.  Inside, the owner tells me the story, of three generations of his family who have been the exclusive supplier of the Pope and the Vatican for trimmings.  Over a Century working with gorgeous threads, cotton gold; assembling tassels, fringes, buttons, laces and Papal uniforms.

 

From Rome with Love is about my love for this city, the art, and the love that went into creating these marvelous pieces of passamanarie artigiana. My collection reflect the experience of these travels and sharing them with you.
